This annual industry event regroups over 32000 professionals of the kitchen and bath industry among which 10 % comes from 52 different countries. This year, the show was held at New Orleans, LA from April 19 to 21 2013. KBIS organizers focused this year on a new look at generational living.

KBIS 2013 aims to give design pros, remodelers and manufacturers new insights into consumer connections. While Finium offered to its partner Wine Logic the perfect stage to showcase its offerings in terms of wine storage, FriendlyWall was a complete discovery to most professionals present at this show. Beauty and esthetic were
certainly the repeat comments gathered from this crowd and will certainly be remembered as an option for new décor.

Debussy is evolving !

The Great Classic Collection is changing for the best. The Debussy panel will now only be available with its original grayish color with a 10% gloss as opposed to 50% originally. This evolution is a direct response to consumers looking for a weather-beaten gray look, sober and discreet. While the color remains the same, the application technique has slightly changed to penetrate and enhance more the wood grain.

The tests done for fire compliance with ASTME84-12 and ULC S 102-10 show the same result and are available under the support tab of our Website.

The original Debussy with a 50% gloss will no longer be offered and this new 10% gloss version will now replace it in the Great Classic collection. Same name followed by Roman number 2: DebussyII.

Montreal, March 2013

Finium joined forces with Elegant Ceilings & Walls to present two of its FriendlyWall selections at the National Home Show of Montreal. The Elegant Ceilings & Walls booth is shown here. FriendlyWall in Natural Walnut was the greatest hit with the public, according to Eric Marino.

The new Urban echo wall also raised a lot of interest with its 7 color variation mix. Urban Echo was also seen among the selection proposed by designer Jean-Michel Gauvreau in the International Novelties showcase.

This Home show is a marathon in itself with 10-days and close to 150 000 visitors and 1500 exhibitors and specialists.

Urban Echo will be available in stores by the end of April, just on time for Spring cleaning fever!

What does Finium and a famous Quebec morning talk show called « Deux filles le matin » co-hosted by Marie-Claude Barrette and Annie-Soleil Proteau,on TVA have in common ? A new FriendlyWall décor ! This show, aired every morning from Monday till Thrusday hosts artists and specialists who share their knowledge and experiences on
various topics.  Last fall, this stage went through a major lifting to create a cosy and jazzy ambiance, suitable for
confidence and relaxation. FriendlyWall panels made of natural walnut (Jazz collection) are wisely used to create a great stage. This same décor is also used for another evening talk show called “this ends the week beautifully” Ca
finit bien la semaine” every Friday, hosted by Isabelle Racicot.

FriendlyWall, this decorative engineered wall panel, in its natural Walnut formal dress is featured on these 2 shows every day of the week on TVA! Used as a background wall and for intimate recess, Finum is proud to be associated with Planchers 440, our retailer of Laval to create a unique and cosy atmosphere on the TVA stages. FriendlyWall is
available throughout 230 dealers across North America.

Folie Design and its owner and interior designer, Julie Fortier, have been at Quebec Expo Habitat for a fifth year. This year, the Design, Kitchen and Bath section of the show made a great hit and was visited by the vast majority of the attendance. 46 000 visitors went through the gates during the five days of this show. Folie Design’s booth had a great success, largely for its sober look and punchy touch with our Natural Walnut FriendlyWall panels, the favorite by far of our Jazz collection at Finium.

Wood is definitely trendy and FriendlyWall has seduced many passerbies according to Julie. “It can be teamed up to give a contemporary and yet warm look with elegance and an timeless style”

FriendlyWall is proud to contribute to the Hamptonality ! These decorative wall panels are prominently featured in two of the most recent hotels of the Hampton Inn chain in north and south Carolina.
